As a UK citizen, you must obtain a valid student visa (subclass 500) online to migrate to Australia. It will allow you to study in Australia full-time in an approved and accredited educational institution for up to 5 years.

As per current rules, you can take your spouses, legal partners, and/or children to Germany while you go there on a study visa, provided you meet certain conditions. These include eligibility, sufficient finances, insurance, and accommodation. The German embassy or consulate individually looks into each study visa.
After you complete your study in the USA, you can look for work in the USA.
