Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) launched the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) in 1967. The FSWP program allows immigrant skilled workers to settle in Canada permanently. Immigrants with 1-year professional work experience from Canada or abroad under National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER categories TEER 0, TEER 1, TEER 2, and TEER 3 are eligible for FSWP.
Skilled workers require scoring 67 points out of 100 on Canada point’s grid.
