Eligibility to apply for the Germany Opportunity Card 

The eligibility conditions to apply for the German Opportunity Card are given below. You must:

  • Be 18 to 40 years old.
  • Have an A1 level of proficiency in German language skills or a B2 level proficiency in English language.
  • Have at least 2 years of vocational training or a recognized university degree.
  • Have adequate funds to support yourself in Germany. You must have approximately €11,208 to sponsor yourself in Germany. 
  • Obtain at least 6 points in the points-based system.
